Advice for Trail Runners: Inspired by the highest mountain in the Alps, the Altra Mont Blanc in the Blue/Red colourway is a stunning shoe designed to cope with the rigours of long distances trail adventures on varied terrain.

Underfoot Feel

Altra’s Balanced Cushioning Platform encourages low impact form throughout your run while the highly-cushioned EGO MAX midsole gives a lively and energetic feel without compromising on cushioning and protection. The outsole uses Vibram LiteBase rubber which performs fantastically well in both wet and dry conditions and is incredibly durable. 

Upper Fit

The Standard FootShape Fit toe box in this model allows your toes to relax and spread out naturally for extra comfort and stability. The super-lightweight upper is wonderfully breathable and is strategically designed for optimum durability in key areas.

Ideal Run Type

The Altra Mont Blanc is perfect for covering long distances over rough and varied terrain, cushioning and protecting your legs when the going gets really tough!

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
